Klimt Raincoat

For this raincoat, I was very much inspired by Jo’s blogpost. She found this amazing waterproof fabric with a Gustav Klimt print on it and made herself a raincoat out of it. I loved the idea of wearing this bright and colourful raincoat out and about when it is rather grey outside and bought the same fabric and the same pattern. The pattern is the Eden Coat from Tilly and the Buttons. It was a fun challenge to think about pattern-matching during this project and I think I was quite succesful with it!

The storm flap is quite perfectly pattern-matched with the back of the coat!

Can you even spot the pattern-matched pocket?

For the lining I chose a relatively sturdy green jersey, so this coat also keeps me warm.
